ABOUT

I’m Rachel Brady, married to Adam, and mum to Arthur (13) and Beatrix (11) and Stanley (5). We have lived in the Peak District for the past 10 years, where have renovated a farmhouse. Ad and I lived in Manchester for 13 years where I worked in digital marketing before I had my son in 2010 and then my daughter in 2012 and finally my third child in 2018.

This website started out as a family food blog called Well Worn Whisk – it was a hobby I began in April 2012 one boring Sunday afternoon. I decided to change from Well Worn Whisk to Mrs Rachel Brady a few years after, and I created content about not just family food, but about all the things that make me happy. Like, a mumĀ  lifestyle blog if you like.

Thennnn… stay with me lol… just recently, in January 2022 I changed it AGAIN to Really Well Rachel, to incorporate my growing skill set and passion for wellbeing, one that has come about due to my own struggles – being diagnosed with depression, then ADHD, then also struggling with ‘grey area drinking’.

Then I didn’t do anything with it for AGES.

I have really struggled to know what my next step is. How to balance that step with my family. But also feel fulfilled. Without even trying, I just naturally lean towards online work and sharing things that I love. So I figure, why not do that more and also tie in my wellbeing offerings. So, here we are.

That brings us to now. I’m excited to relaunch my blog as Really Well Rache with a new, simpler header. Someone said once that my blog should reflect where I am at in my own life, and that’s what I hope it does. I’m a home-loving mum. And I always will be. But I am also a qualified yoga teacher, holistic life coach, and essential oil business owner. Home (family) is my heart and my heart is at its best when I am focused on my wellbeing. So they are what you will find me blabbering on about, mostly. I feel like my story is your story – and so many mums reach out to me and relate to what I am talking about.

I love creating content and sharing my experiences to connect with others. This is what really lights me up. I honestly believe I am meant to create content and connect and help other women, mums in particular, with their home life and wellbeing.

I hope that my content on here and on my YouTube, Instagram – helps other mums feel better in themselves, find joy and ease in their homemaking – and therefore more able to enjoy life.

Finally, I love to hear from you – it makes my day when I get a nice comment, email or social message.
